Oh my. I am not supposed to be blogging till.....

Had psych tutorial an hour ago. It was on social psychology. I was very disturbed by what i watched. Man was acting like beasts. Yes, beasts is a better word to describe man.

Upon watched the various video clips, i started to think about how we are appalled by the way man is behaving. I am not talking about in the 16th or 17th centuries because extensive research has been done then and now and studies have shown that rather the situation is still the same.

Is life about asking questions? Conducting experiments to get a better understanding, find the root cause and then submit your thesis for the nobel prize?! Somehow that was the impression i got after our psych tutorial today. Initially i was disturbed by the findings about human nature. Then i was shocked that these psychologists were unethical.

"SO WHAT???" This question is ringing in my head now. So what if their research has led to such findings? So what if we realize that authority has immense power to cause man to do beastly acts? What then?

Isn't it all futile if findings after findings are nothing but a piece of information that does not affect us? So what is man going to do with this knowledge that he has? Nothing.
Nothing.


ARGHH.. Just some ramblings.
