Twenteen!

Firstly, I want to thank my nerds for organizing such an awesome surprise. The music was terrible but the company was beyond awesome!!! Although the things I had to do was embarrassing and will probably make me avoid that place for the next decade… But to have friends who are in the midst of rushing out their projects, swimming/drowning in the heaps of readings, copying each other’s tutorials took time off to celebrate my birthday! SWEET! Love all of you.
For that, all of you shall get a promotion. Soon.

Having you as my friend is a gift in itself and I thank God for that!


After exams, I am going to camp at Basheer to slowly select the books that I want! AhHhHH~

After leaders’ PBSM, my great friends celebrated the pok of the century and my birthday!! HAHA. Initially, we decided that we should have a big bash. However, I’m too busy for all that, so we’d continue in MAY. Oh weird. Thank you for remembering and being such an encourager and an encouragement-be it in words, actions, thoughts, gestures or prayers. Merci!

The celebration will continue tonight with friends from all over the place. ☺

Anyway, perhaps one thing I really like about birthdays are that old friends whom I’ve not met/heard from for eons remember that it is my birthday and they immediately message me. It is a great conversation starter/excuse to ask how they have been and even though ‘I miss you’ may sometimes seem overused, I shall insist that I really do miss them. ☺

Even friends from across the water, under the open sky, call/poke/message me to do a little catching up. It really warms my heart. Thank God for such friendships. I have came across incidents whereby people drift simply because once out of sight, it becomes out of mind. A friendship that was short-lived. Sometimes I wish time would permit me to do many more things with all the people I love, but I am glad that I have understanding friends who like me, believe its all about quality and not quantity!

My birthday story to all.

She turns 20 today
Wishes and celebrations
Wine and confetti
With a smile on her face,
she quietly whisper a prayer of thanks

Perhaps one day when amnesia sets it
She will not remember the gifts
However, she will remember the sincerity
Shown towards her
Not just on this special day
But everyday.

They tell her she is loved

They wish her well on this special day
Then they say a little prayer for me

She tells them God have blessed her
With each one of them
They smile.

The girl, with a thankful heart
Thank her creator.

Then she thank her friends
Her loved ones
And wish them all a happy day.
Not just today
Not just tomorrow.

But…everyday,
To be filled with joy

The girl, she knows 7th April will pass
However, if there’s one thing she can do,
Is to be thankful
