Food hunter

Had Food Hunt Dry run today and instead of putting on weight, I think I lost weight. HAHA. We were thrown into a van which I shall not describe the condition of it lest I scream and run away crying. The drive was a ride of my life-Once I thought I was going to be flunk out of the big van window. :| Speaking Chinese to not just stall owners but to the other marketing team felt weird, but I am thankful for them because they made the whole journey much more bearable. ☺ Since it was a dry run, we didn’t get to eat too.
The highlight of the day was when Celine mentioned about something on my shirt and there I was frantically asking if it was some weird insect. Thank God it was just SOMETHING and not come creepy crawly ☹ Then Ben said “there!”, tapped my shoulder and was producing red sponge balls from behind my ears, behind my shirt, my palm, Vanessa’s hand… IT WAS AMAZING!!! It was mind-blowing! Of all the magic tricks that he has shown me, I personally liked the heart-shaped sponge, signature cards, and the changing of two cards. He said he’s going to teach me a couple of tricks so watch out people… one day I will no longer be squeezing with all of you on the trains and buses. Teleportation would be my mode of transport! Haha. Can’t wait to have lunch together and have a blast having my mind all messed up. ☺AWESOME STUFF BEN!!!
Of course, there were times where we were mad with whoever who keyed in the wrong address. For example, 348 Bedok Road, Bedok Market. Who in the world do not know that it is Simpang Bedok. So we searched high and low for a carrot cake stall which DOES NOT EXIST only to find out that the right address is Upper Changi Road. How is that in any way similar? Baffles me.
Enough of food hunting!!! Maybe next year my team and I will join as a participation. We’d come in first yo! ☺
Before the whole thing ends, I want to give my heart-filled thanks to Ben, Weizheng, Vanessa, Marcus, Daz, Jia Xing for all their effort they have to this hunting mission, the fun time spent together, their willingness to be subjected to rejection when making calls to company, their enthusiasm and joy when a company decides to sponsor us, and also that we can spend a little more time with one another in the midst of this rat race! ☺
Having MIMBY meeting tomorrow. I must say something here…
I have been very encouraged by my team’s effort and amazed by their creativity and their faithfulness. Most of them are actually working adults such as Choon Kiat, Fish, Jean Le, Eirene(at the moment), or they are full time students. May what they do be pleasing to the King and be joyous as they go about doing it. Just a little less than a month! ☺
