Easter

Tons of work to do but since I am not being very productive with my gambling essay, I decided to give myself a break and blog!
I had to often remind myself that when I join the various committees for school events, I must remember that I am working with an entire new group of people. However, sometimes I forget and get frustrated because I compare them with how when the way S&P run events. However, through the various meetings and persevering through, one thing that I got out of it was spending time with new friends. ☺
It is easy to meet friends for lunch, grab a quick bite in between classes, but it is rare to spend an entire day together, with the exception of close friends. Like what Marcus, Celine and myself said after food hunt was over-it’s worth it! Hahaha.
That night, I was chatting with someone and he said that the uni people sure like to stretch themselves that sometimes we simply overtire ourselves out for nothing. I have been thinking about it and I beg to differ because surprisingly, I actually walked away that night after the event and found value in going through it although I am sure that was not my thought when I was AT IT. Haha. ☺
Sarah Ang, Pok Of The Field, asked me what was easter to me when I was young.
My reply: CHOCOLATEs! Peanut butter easter chocolate eggs!! Chocolate easter bunnies!!!
In KC, all my lovely teachers and friends would give me chocolate eggs for easter and write me sweet notes. You know how when you’re still that small little girl in your parents’ eyes, and their stand is that chocolates should be a treat, not a snack? So easter felt like a day where chocolate rained down on me! Haha. That innocent me would savor it so delicately that I’d refuse to eat it till I can bear no longer. Of course, by then those peanut butter chocolate eggs would melt and lose its shape. ☹ oh, I used to have an aunt that would give me this rather big chocolate easter bunny and it’d open the fridge everyday the moment I come home from school just to admire and ensure that the bunny do not hop off. A month later, I will open it and then my entire family would share it while I look on sadly at how the ears are gone! The legs are gone. Looking back, I feel so silly.
I still have chocolates left over from valentines’ day!! Haha.. Ok, shall make it treat as I embrace all my asSIGHments. ☺
This easter shall be different, because of MIMBY-Music In My Backyard. Love Actually!!! We’re going to have such a blast! Sitting under the star-lit sky, with an old fig tree spreading its big leaves in the far corner, good food, and live band! Interested? Drop me a note on my tagboard!

Ok. *chant * back to work, back to work, back to work.
