There will only be one helmet in my life

It SEEMED like years since I last saw Helmet.
She was the first person whom I knew in JC that was taking the same subject combination with me so we practically stuck to each other like peas in a pod. HOW can I forget the amount of laughter and joy she bring into my life? Her muscular arms which she would cheekily show off her strength by carrying me or pushing her way up so that she can peep at me when I am in the toilet! Disgusting!
Only monkeys like us would study at Clarke Quay Liang Court macs with the drilling in the background. She's the only girl who would jump around and come close to tears, almost empathizing with poor Bruce who was exposed to the elements of nature-all the thunder and lightning. Or the times whereby the both of us went art shopping together, comforting each other, encouraging one another although most of the time she write to me in tamil. Haha.
We'd walk in the rain after art singing emo songs and then she'd laugh at me while cars zoom by and splash water at me.
We'd climb windows and bring chairs to the "balcony" to do art and then realize that it's way too hot! So we do crazy things like watch the tennis boys. HAHA.
Running along the red-black track with her
Having breakfast, lunch, dinner with her
Climbing trees at botanic gardens
Island creamery
playing with Adelyn
badminton
Playing with the stress buster
Today when I met her, a whole lot of emotions rushed to my head and heart.
Overjoyed-after not seeing her for donkey years, it was GREAT to have dinner with her
Sad-for an obvious reason
Excited-to tell her all that has been happening in my life and even excited for her new phase in Manchester.
Bliss-to hear her voice and just wanting to absorb whatever she was telling me and her let her fill me in with all that's happening in her life
The dinner ended too soon. :(
It will be another long while before I meet her again. Will we remember these memories? Will we ever do such crazy acts again?
4 more days................
It's going to be so hard saying goodbye to you.
But let's cheers to our wonderful friendship-for being such an encouragement and joy in my life.

Your patience and love for children is admirable

Take care and stand firm in your faith! :) No worries about terrorists, your helmet will protect you.
