Alone Again, Naturally. Bye bye darling

Last night, Sara came over and we spent the entire night doing a little gift for Gera who left for down under at 9.30am today. While we were pouring through the photographs, i felt immensely thankful to God for the friendship that we share. From having childish battles of KC Vs Tao Nan, to going home together after EMDD rehearsals, visiting one another in our different changing rooms, celebrating one another's birthday, cooking for each other and together, thinking of one another when we're overseas, working together, shopping, visiting quirky places, arty places...... and i'm hardly done with the list of things that we do.
There were a million and one things i wanted to write in the book we did for her, yet words weren't enough. Maybe partly because my brain wasn't functioning well after being awake for 58 hours. It was the shortest farewell at the airport which was probably a good thing because none of us cried there. Yet, that last hug before we waved to each other was probably the longest and tightest which completely broke my heart and I am very sad that it will be another 5 months till she return. :(
I miss you dear Geraldyne.

Really looking forward to our next dim sum date come December.

The past 6+ years have been such a joy. Thank you dearie for being there to help me out when i was down and stressed, and bringing so much laughter into my life, cheering me up with bottles of encouragements, letters, chocolates, and treats.

While we never fulfilled our 'to-do' list, when you return in December, let's try to do half of it :) Even though there was no picnic, no movie, just a simple last gathering with the dim sums at my house with home cooked porridge, half boiled eggs, cheesecake and a violent game of heart attack, I'd still smile and say it was time well spent. Yes, even if it meant we didn't get to watch Angelina Jolie in Wanted. :)
We miss you.
