it was a sweet night

It brings me much joy to be back with my 2 besties.
Yesterday, instead of our usual dining out at some jap restaurant,(yes, we have a knack of choosing jap food all the time), we had a candlelight dinner at gera's house!!
we spent close to 60 bucks for the ingredients... and we cooked up a storm. I cooked them chicken wings even though i don't like chicken wings, i knew the 2 ladies loved it since we ordered chicken wings at our supposedly favourite restaurant which we've patronized only once. Joke of the day. Because of sara's deep love for chicken, i got ticked off for not massaging the chicken with FEELING. You see the little thigns we squabble over? Do you think we're 18?
The kitchen was noisy and untidy. We communicated by arguing over trivial little things like getting the live prawns clean, my random outbreak of laughing hysterically at the fridge magnets. 'Enjoy wildlife, have kids!' That's the quote of the day. I'll laugh to tears at how we'll cook our dishes half way and then run off to do something else. Therefore, we are hazardous in the kitchen. Never hire us.
Finally we were all done with our cooking, and the food was turning cold... and the time has arrived..
*pops the sparkling juice* My brilliancy led to the cork flying down 4 storeys. I'm a killer litter!! my dearies expressions were priceless when their nightmare came true and all i could do was give an innocent face and smile.

That's our spread! Awesome right? Everything tasted excellent too!! Believe it or not, everything was home-cooked with lots of love, and i couldn't help brimming from ear to ear!!

Dinner under the stars, with a candle infront of us, company of friends whom i missed and love dearly warmed my heart. The jokes that they crack, the interesting stories they share of their travel, and the not so interesting segments, the teasing of each other, playing Guess Who?, taking photos, striking monkey poses, playing at the playground, singing, twirling, climbing, every moment...... i thank the Lord for blessing me so richly with such friends and company. I say that as i have many friends, but not many are like-minded, some are friends whom we exchange a hi and bye, while others are motive driven... These 2 friends of mine stood with me since we got to know each other, and i can genuinely say, i love them. :)
Dessert was nicely decorated thanks to gera and myself. We make a great team. Of course, there's only one person who can make food look so delicious and make you wish you could have a bite too. SARA PARN TING HUI. But mind you, she can be quite a cracko! She attempted to gallop to the pond on the playground horse and boy were we not amused.
